Segway riders will soon be whizzing through the trails of Thetford Forest in the dark as part of a series of special after hour openings.
Go Ape is opening up its trails across the country for twilight events and at its Norfolk base in the UK’s largest man made lowland forest that will involve two-wheel adventures after dark.
The sessions, on selected dates between October 26 and November 11, will involve a brief and training session, before heading out on the heavy duty all-terrain Segways.
Groups of riders will navigate their way through the forest paths and trails with only a head torch and the night sky for light.
A spokesman said: “The darkness will add a completely new dimension to the adventure as visitors will see the forest coming alive at night. The Segway course has four independent routes, allowing customers to get to choose which dark route they want to explore.”
