New sergeant for Thetford team
A NEW sergeant has been appointed to join the Thetford Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).
A NEW sergeant has been appointed to join the Thetford Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).
Sgt Matthew Howes began his eight year career in Diss where he was stationed as a beat officer for four years.
He then joined the response team in Taverham for two years where he was also crime investigator.
More recently, Sgt Howes spent two years in Dereham as an office on the SNT.

He said: “I am looking forward to forging links with the community and partners in the neighbourhood.
“My team of dedicated officers will be problem solving issues in the area that affect local people's quality of life.

The Thetford SNT is supervised by a team of three sergeants including Sgt Steve Burke and Sgt Tracey Fox.
