Plans to build 18 new homes on a village housing estate look set to go ahead after council officers recommended them for approval.
Broadland Development Services LTD has put forward plans to build 18 family homes off Wretham Road, in Great Hockham.
The homes will be a mix of one and four beds with each featuring a drive way and garden. Of these 18, 10 will be affordable homes.

The development has been supported by the parish council but raised fears among residents that the estate does match the surrounding homes and it would overshadow them.
A planning statement, created by Ingleton Wood on behalf of Broadland Development Services, said that a dense tree line on the south boundary and a mature tree with hedging along the west would stop homes being visible.
It also said the homes have been created to look like a farm with one plot being the "traditional farm house" and the other homes resembling outhouses and barns.
The plans, which have been recommended for approval by Breckland Council officers, will be put before the authority at a planning meeting on Monday, December 16.
