A pioneering vicar will celebrate Mothers Day with a new church service on a Thetford estate.
Reverent Tony Heywood has take on the role of team vicar and hopes to establish a church on the Abbey Estate.
An open invitation has now been extended to people to attend a Mothers Day service at Bishops Primary School on Canterbury Way, on March 18 at 4pm.
Weekly assemblies are already being held by Rev Heywood at the school and plans are under way to hold an Easter Sunday service. A summer holiday club with an Olympic theme will also be held for primary school children between August 9 and 11, leading into an all-age service on August 12.
