Rural tourism received a boost last week with the launch of a new booklet.

The Days Out in the Norfolk Countryside pamphlet was officially unveiled at St Georges Whisky Distillery, in Roudham, following collaboration between two district councils.

The booklet is the third year that Breckland and South Norfolk Councils have worked together to promote tourist attractions across the county and parts of Suffolk. More than 50 venues, including the whisky distillery, are featured in this year's publication.

Cabinet members Paul Clausson of Breckland Council and Michael Windridge of South Norfolk Council said combining budgets helped produce a higher quality product.
