Ancient House Museum in Thetford posted mysterious pictures of a man from BBC1’s The One Show on their Twitter account on Thursday, February 7.

On Twitter, the museum said: “Early start at the museum this morning as @BBCTheOneShow were filming a segment in our Victorian Kitchen. Watch this space for more information!”

However, all of the staff have been sworn to secrecy with the reasons behind his appearance, along with reporter Ruth Goodman, a closely guarded secret.

A spokesman for the museum said: “It is all a bit under wraps until there is a big reveal on the TV.

“Ruth Goodman really enjoyed the museum and loved the paintings on display, but we can’t say what the theme is, we are sworn to secrecy.”

The segment will go on TV within the next month, watch this space for more updates.
