Ronald Beacham who died from a serious head injury


A man arrested following an alleged assault in Thetford has been charged with murder.

Michael O’Leary, 56, of no fixed address was initially charged with grievous bodily harm with intent following the incident in Fir Road, Thetford, shortly before 2am on December 4.

Ronald Beacham, 65, of Ufkell Road, Thetford, died on December 8 at Addenbrooke’s Hospital after suffering serious head injuries.

O’Leary remains remanded in custody and will appear before Norwich Crown Court on December 20.
