Commuters on a Norfolk main road are being warned to expect traffic disruption later this month when a programme of kerbing and resurfacing works begin.

Norfolk County Council says that delays will be likely for six weeks on the A134 Mundford Road between Thetford and Lynford.

The kerbing works will start on Wednesday May 14 with the resurfacing running between Tuesday May 27 and June 25 and will stretch from the A11 roundabout at Thetford to the Stanford Road crossroads at Lynford.

Temporary traffic signals will be in place during the kerbing works with a convoy system operating during the resurfacing operations.

The section of work adjacent to the A11 roundabout will be carried out overnight between May 27 and 30. The project will cost just over £500,000.
