Police found an inventive way of recovering a moped dumped in the woods today.

Mildenhall police were called to Brandon Country Park just after 7am after a dog walker found the black Peugeot Ludix 50 Pro scooter abandoned.

An officer posted a picture of the bike precariously balanced in a police car’s boot, and said: “Improvised recovery of a stolen moped dumped deep in the woods near @BCountryPark well spotted by a dog walker.”

The officer added that the scooter was not taken on the road in the position in the photo.
