Man injured in Thetford crash

A 70-year-old man was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Thetford today.

The collision happened at the Forest Retail Park car park, near Sainsbury's, just after 3.

A 70-year-old man was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Thetford today.

The collision happened at the Forest Retail Park car park, near Sainsbury's, just after 3.30pm.

The man, who was believed to have been trapped in his vehicle by an airbag, was rescued by firefighters.

He suffered minor injuries and was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital.

Two fire crews from Thetford attended the scene.
