A man has this morning appeared in court charged with three counts of rape and two charges of sexual assault.
Christopher Armstrong, 20, of no fixed abode, did not enter a plea when he appeared before magistrates in Bury St Edmunds.
The court heard that the allegations were in connection with two different incidents which both took place in Brandon in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Armstrong was remanded in custody until April 16 when he will appear at Ipswich Crown Court.
