A 36-year-old man had his mobile phone and about �100 cash stolen after being hit across the head and knocked to the ground in an alleyway in Thetford.
The man was walked through the alley at Thyme Close on the Cloverfields estate at about 10.50pm on Monday when he was robbed by three men.
It is not clear what he was hit with but it could have been a piece of wood or a fist.

Police said he got “nasty” head injuries, including a black eye.
While he was on the floor the men stole the victim's phone and the cash.
