A Job fair is set to be held in Thetford, Watton and Swaffham to help those seeking work to those who want to fund out about career development opportunities.
The fair will visit the Assembly Rooms, Swaffham, on September 13 between 10am and 1pm, Thetford’s Carnegie Room on September 26 from 10am until 1pm and Queens Hall in Watton between 1pm and 4pm on October 3.
The event has been organised by Breckland Council and the Department for Work and Pensions.
Representatives from JobCentre Plus will be on hand to help people with job applications, interview techniques and job searching.
Councillor Adrian Stasiak, executive member for growth and commercialisation, said: “While jobs fairs are obviously of great value to the unemployed, it also allows those in employment who want to examine their options for a new career path, or to develop their skills, to talk directly to employers and training organisation in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.”
