The Thetford Excellence Partnership and 11 partnership schools have launched a joint scheme offering support to pupils and parents on attendance issues.
Eleven pupils - one from each school taking part in the scheme - helped launch a leaflet which has been distributed to every parent and carer of school-aged children in the town.
It contains support and advice on how to tackle issues with punctuality and truancy.
Nancy Robinson, lead headteacher for the partnership, said: “We are working together as a group of schools and this very exciting partnership will have a tremendous positive impact on the community.”
