A local group who run the Thetford Community Ballpark will be holding their annual meeting next week. The Thetford Community Association will be meeting on Monday, from 6pm at Redcastle Community Centre.
A local group who run the Thetford Community Ballpark will be holding their annual meeting next week.
The Thetford Community Association will be meeting on Monday, from 6pm at Redcastle Community Centre. Any members of the public are welcome to attend.
The group has been fighting to secure enough money to keep the ballpark open. The group has barely got enough money at present to keep the facility going and are calling on local people to get involved to ensure the project's survival. The group are currently awaiting a decision from the Football Foundation about a funding application submitted which was bring in around £10,000 to provide football training sessions at the Ballpark and help contributge to the running costs.
