The Homer Simpson cut-out has been spotted in the tall grass on the roundabout on Mundford Road, Thetford, next to the Fison Way Industrial Estate.

Drivers have been greeted by the long-running cartoon character as he dreams about a lawnmower to cut the overgrown plants.

The piece has been created by an artist who calls themselves Pranksy. They were behind a similar piece showing Homer sat on a sofa in Cranwich Road, Thetford, in April this year.

It was to highlight the problem of fly-tipping in the area but was stolen soon after it was displayed.

A note on the back of the new cut-out reads: "If you must steal homer, please dispose of him responsibly. Thank you.

Pranksy."

The roundabout's new addition has been welcomed by residents with one saying, "brilliant, it keeps us amused to see this".
