The popular Charles Burrell Centre in Thetford was transformed into an Hawaiian beach as Old Skool Bar delivered a beach party.

Around 200 people joined the celebration with many brightly coloured costumes helping to set the scene - there was even a washed up boat with pirates and treasure.

The blue waves covered the ceiling of the main hall with plenty of handmade sea creatures hiding amongst the waves.

The event was the latest in a number of activities put on at the centre for local residents.

Previous activities have included a Barn Dance and 60s and 70s night.

The next Old Skool Bar event is an 80s themed party night on Saturday, September 16.

Fancy dress is encouraged and tickets are £5 and available from Leaping Hare.
