Grow those sunflowers tall, children!

Thetford Town Council is inviting local schools to take part in a sunflower growing competition.

Town manager Susan Glossop has packets of seeds available at the town council offices and the town council's gardener will be available to give hints and tips on how to get the best results.

Town manager Susan Glossop has packets of seeds available at the town council offices and the town council's gardener will be available to give hints and tips on how to get the best results.

There will be a prize for the winning school.

Application forms have been sent out to schools with the winner - the tallest sunflower - being declared in late summer.
