A father has described his pride after running his first half marathon having lost nearly nine stone in just over a year.
Graham Williams, from Thetford, weighed 27 stone in February last year and admits he often did not have the energy to play with his young daughter.
But after joining Thetford ParkRun, the 32-year-old has slimmed down to 18 stone, with a 14-stone target in his sights.
On Sunday, he took part in the 13 mile Silverstone half marathon, his first time running the distance.
He said: 'I am very proud of what I've achieved but I'm trying to stay level-headed because I've still got a way to go. This is hopefully the first of many.'
Mr Williams, who lives in Pine Close, said his weight was having a negative impact on his life.
'My weight was stopping me and my daughter playing and work was starting to become a struggle. It's much better now,' he said.
