More than �1,000 was raised towards school improvements at an intimate Valentine’s Day dinner and dance.
Some 40 tickets were sold for the event in aid of the Little Normans Pre-School in Northwold, near Brandon, which included an auction.
Organiser and former parent Helen Shepherd said: “This truly was an amazing evening – fun and laughter was had by all and I have to say it never ceases to amaze me when we pull together what we can achieve.”
A total of �1,300 was raised which will go towards replacing the pre-school’s temporary building.
