Youngsters raise hundreds at talent show

A primary school talent show which promised to be bigger and better than ever has raised more than £500.
Weeting Primary School, in Brandon, raised £693.80 for Friends of Weeting at its second Weeting's Got Talent in Brandon Village Hall.
Children from the school had the opportunity to show off their talent, with dancers, singers, a puppet show, a magic act and poetry readings.

Rebecca Salton, from Friends of Weeting, said: “All the children did so well and it was truly an amazing night.
“We had a panel of judges consisting of staff from the school who picked the first, second and third place winners who went home with trophies.”
Every youngster who took part or helped with the production received an Easter egg prize.
Money raised is going towards funding new outdoor play equipment.
The school is now preparing for next year's show.
