PET owners were urged to make the most of a free advice and assistance service as the RSPCA began a week-long offensive in Thetford.Officers from the animal charity are set to visit more than 3,000 homes in the town to offer veterinary, dietary and welfare help as part of its Community Animal Action Week.

until Saturday, is
offering affordable micro chipping and neutering vouchers for pets across the town.
Free information and assistance on de-fleaing, worming, nail trimming, dietary, behavioural and welfare advice will also be on hand during the week.
The RSCPA will be at the Redcastle Furze Community Centre every day this week between 10am and 4.30pm, with the centre open until 8pm tomorrow.
Veterinary health checks will take place tomorrow and Saturday.
