AN application to build four new homes on an existing residential site in Thetford has been submitted to Breckland Council.
AN application to build four new homes on an existing residential site in Thetford has been submitted to Breckland Council.
If given the go ahead the detached four bedroom homes, along with garages, would be built off Nightingale Way and Wagtail Way.
Housing nearby is already made up of a mix of detached and semi-detached homes, built in the mid 1990s, but applicants Abbey Developments Ltd have reassured existing home owners they would not be affected.
In an application to go before the council on an unknown date it said: “Careful consideration has been given to the siting of the proposed dwellings in relation to the trees and the orientation of the existing adjoining properties.
“The retention of the existing tress, siting and orientation of the proposed dwellings and the additional landscaping will maintain an impression of openness and prevent a significant impact on the visual amenity of the existing properties.”
Access would be via Nightingale Way and Wagtail Way.
