Watton councillors will this Saturday, February 5, collect signatures for a petition against planned changes to the way the UK’s forests are managed.
The town council will use its surgery at the Wayland Farmers’ Market, on the High Street, to assess the level of opposition to proposals which will see areas like Thetford Forest sold off or given to charities to manage.
