A pre-inquiry meeting for the Fiveways to Thetford improvement scheme will be open to the public at the Carnegie Room in Thetford from 10am.
A decision to hold an inquiry - expected to take place in November - comes after the Highways Agency received 44 objections and nine statements of support following a 13 week consultation on the nine mile A11 upgrade.
Tuesday's hearing will not discuss the merits of the proposed scheme, but assist the appointed inspector and other participants to prepare for the public inquiry, said an agency spokesman.
