Elveden Primary Academy, in Suffolk, has created the space for youngsters to be calm, quiet and reflect at lunchtimes.

Head teacher Lorna Rourke wants children be able to get away from everyday stress.

She said: "Our new space is full of sensory stations where children can explore smells, textures and sounds.

"We have tee-pees and a lovely reading willow arch where children can get lost in a book too.

"We believe in the importance of wellbeing for our children and want them to be provided with opportunities that not only keep their body healthy, but their minds too."

The school also focuses on additional physical activities including a Daily Mile, Skip2bfit and Joe Wicks Workouts.

Pupils attend the school from the age of five through to 11.
