A driver was taken to hospital with a serious head injury after the car he was travelling in left the A134 at Lynford, near Thetford, and hit a tree.
Emergency services were called just after 10.30pm yesterday after the driver of a red Vauxhall Vectra became trapped following the crash.
Fire crews from Thetford and Methwold were required to release the man. The driver, who had an open wound to his head, was taken by ambulance to Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge.
