A quartet of cyclists have completed a moonlit ride through the streets of London to help raise nearly £4,000 after being inspired by a four-year-old with autism.
Barry Wharf, Richard Bennett, David Norton and Paul Hughes pedalled the 100km London nightrider challenge as Mr Wharf’s son, Alec, from Brandon, was diagnosed with autism when he was two.
Together with a charity event held at Forest Academy School, the famiy have now managed to raise nearly £4,000 for the National Autistic Society.
The Wharf family said they would like to thank everyone that donated and supported their fund-raising.
