A PUBLIC cycle ride will take place in Thetford during half-term week in a bid to encourage people to become more active.
A PUBLIC cycle ride will take place in Thetford during half-term week in a bid to encourage people to become more active.
The ride will begin at the Thetford Meet Up Caf� on Thursday at 11am, where Sustrans Bike It officer, Georgie Burr, will lead the convoy to Thetford Forest.
Police will be on hand to help with crossing the A11.
After enjoying a picnic in the forest the ride will the make its way back to Thetford and finish at the same caf� at 3pm.
The event has been organised as part of the Thetford Healthy Town project, in partnership with Breckland Council.
All ages and abilities are welcome, and people should bring a picnic.
