Cycle ride in Thetford

A PUBLIC cycle ride will take place in Thetford during half-term week in a bid to encourage people to become more active.

A PUBLIC cycle ride will take place in Thetford during half-term week in a bid to encourage people to become more active.

The ride will begin at the Thetford Meet Up Café on Thursday at 11am, where Sustrans Bike It officer, Georgie Burr, will lead the convoy to Thetford Forest.

Police will be on hand to help with crossing the A11.

After enjoying a picnic in the forest the ride will the make its way back to Thetford and finish at the same café at 3pm.

The event has been organised as part of the Thetford Healthy Town project, in partnership with Breckland Council.

All ages and abilities are welcome, and people should bring a picnic.
