An art trail through Breckland will celebrate local artists by opening studios, homes and community venues to help people discover local affordable art in the run up to Christmas.

Breckland Council is appealing for artists to come forward to join event, which will run from December 1 to December 9.

Lynda Turner, executive member for environmental services, localism and communities, said: 'The idea is to bring more art and art activities into local areas and to show we have art right on our doorsteps that everyone can get involved in.'

Artists will be invited to show their work, and local businesses and public buildings could display works or even host events and performances.
