Communities across East Anglia should expect to see and hear more fighter jets flying in the sky than usual.
The 48th Fighter Wing are increasing flying operations during the week from RAF Lakenheath.
A spokesman for the US airbase said there are no plans for low-altitude flying.
They added: “These operations facilitate a number of training requirements for both aircrew and support personnel on the ground, and are necessary to ensure a ready and capable force.”
