Singers are being invited to join forces for a Christmas carol holiday workshop.
To round off its 10th anniversary year, Thetford Voices is once again inviting young people from across the region to join them for the event on Friday, December 22.
Singers aged from six to 16 will meet at 11.15am in St Peter’s Church, White Hart Street, Thetford to rehearse carols and Christmas songs before an afternoon singing in residential homes across Thetford.
The day will end with a Christmas tea, before guests arrive for a concert at 6.30pm for families, friends and members of the public.
There is no charge for the day, made possible through the support of the Chivers Trust and Coach Services of Thetford.
A spokesman for Thetford Voices said: “We aim to make Carolling Day a special day for audiences and performers alike - do come and join us.”
For further information and enrolment forms, which are also available from Thetford Library and Thetford’s Great Information Centre in King’s Street, email thetfordvoices@gmail.com or call 01842 820060.
