The chairman of the South West Norfolk Conservative Association has given his backing to a candidate embroiled in controversy following her affair with a Tory MP.

David Hills, chairman of the South West Norfolk Conservative Association, broke his silence about Elizabeth Truss, who has been at the centre of a row since details of her affair with MP Mark Field emerged.
