A corner of Norfolk experienced a touch of Scottish tradition when it celebrated the birth of poet Robert Burns.
The event, in aid of Burns Night, at the Angel Inn in Larling, began with the piping in of the haggis, followed by an address by the piper.
A traditional Scottish dish of “neeps and tatties” (turnips and potatoes) was served and more than 100 Scottish whisky’s were available at the event on Wednesday.
Landlord Andrew Stammers said: “It got going as the afternoon went on and it was very good. “My late grandmother was Scottish and my uncle’s birthday on the 25th so we held a little celebration for him when we came to the Angel 28 years ago and it’s gone so well we carried it on.”
