A SERIES of workshops aiming to support small business through the downturn begins next month.

The events, funded by Breckland Council and delivered by business support organisation NWES, aim to provide assistance to small firms in eth district to help them survive in difficult times.

The free, day-long, workshops will guide business owners through strategies to improve performance and profitability.

Subjects include how to improve chances of obtaining finance and making the most of marketing opportunities.

The Does your Business Need Help Through the Recession? Worshops will begin at the Keystone Innovation Trust on Croxton Road in Thetford on November 4, from 9.30am until 4pm.

On November 5 it will move to Wayland House on Acorn Road in Watton, from 1.30 until 7.30pm; then will be in Dereham at Elizabeth House on November 20 from 9.30am until 4pm.
