Brandon will host its first community fair with a difference on Sunday .
A variety of stalls will assemble along the High Street for a French Lille style market, giving the town a chance to come together.
Community groups will also be able to earn much-needed funds, people can sell their spare goods and toys, and shops can run a stall to promote their trade.
Forest Heath District councillor, Robin Millar, member champion for economy said: “This is an unusual and unique event for Brandon. There can't be many High Streets with such a diverse range of shops selling everything from Wellington boots to antiques, cards and gifts to a garden hoe.
“These all sit alongside cafes from different cultures. Add this mix to stalls from residents and the Braderie becomes something very different that I hope people will welcome and enjoy.”
For more information or to book a stall contact Joanne Rogers, town centre manager on 01638 719399 or email joanne.rogers@forest-heath.gov.uk.
