Roadworks which caused traffic to build up in Brandon have finished earlier than expected.
Temporary traffic lights had been placed in the centre of the town as works to the High Street and London Road were completed.
They began on July 1 and were expected to last until this weekend but were completed on Saturday.
A Suffolk County Council spokesperson said this had been due to the disruption the roadworks had caused.
