Brandon Country Park has been pipped at the post to be crowned one of the county's best picnic sites.
Following a public vote, the country park was narrowly beaten by Bridge End Garden in Saffron Walden, Essex, which will now go head to head with other regional winners to be crowned Warburtons Best Picnic Spot, 2010.
General manager at Warburtons Thetford Depot, Ian Dickerson, said: “It was a closely run battle and we'd like to say a big thank you to all East Anglian sites as well as the people who voted.
“This year's competition has uncovered some real hidden gems. It just goes to show that in this region there are some outstanding places to enjoy a picnic.”
