A community event to raise awareness of different cultures and backgrounds in Brandon will be held on Friday (27).
Representatives from Forest Heath District Council (FHDC) and officers from the local safer neighbourhood team will be attending to give an input to students about diversity, equality and prejudices.
After school there will be a “fun session” with activities run by the play rangers from FHDC.
Organised by PCSO Steven Warby, Forest Heath minority community link officer, the event will be held at Glade Primary School from 9am to 11.30am and 12.30pm to 3pm.
From 3pm to 5pm activities will take place on the field beside the school with parents.
