The interim head of Hamonds High School has resigned as permanent head of Attleborough High.
Stuart Bailey has now become a “county head” which means he is employed directly by the county council and can be sent to any school it needs him to go to.
The move leaves Attenborough High free to employ a new permanent head teacher and Mr Bailey able to stay on at Hamonds for as long as is necessary.
Mr Bailey was drafted into Hamond's as interim head after Yvonne Srodzinski was suspended as in April pending an investigation into her management.
