Storytellers, artists and re-enactors are set to bring the Brecks alive with a touch of theatre this weekend.
Enchanted Heath and Enchanted Heath At Night will be held at West Stow Anglo Saxon Village and Country Park on Saturday.
It has been organised as part of the HLF-funded Breaking New Ground project, which aims to celebrate the Brecks landscape, by groups including St Edmundsbury Borough Council, Rojo Art, West Suffolk College, Wulfingas 450-550 AD Society and the Friends of West Stow.
Enchanted Heath, which runs between 11am and 4pm and is free, will feature Brecks crafts, a storytelling trail, face painting and archery, designed to capture the essence of Brecks life.
With Enchanted Heath at Night, starting at 4.30pm, visitors will be able to experience the magic of Brecks through a series of guided 1.5km walks, lit up with the help of St Edmundsbury Theatre Services.

The event will also give visitors a first look at a new sculpture trail being developed at West Stow dedicated to the ancient story of Beowulf and Grendel, and ending with the sleeping Heathland Dragon.
