A group of hard-working apprentices were presented with certificates for their achievements by South West Norfolk MP Elizabeth Truss.

Nathan Cubley, Nathan Sismey and Thomas Render gained distinction for their work at Warren Services in Thetford, and met with the politician to mark National Apprenticeship Week.

Ms Truss said: “I was very impressed with the three apprentices. It’s a great scheme the company is running and I hope we can expand it to more companies in Norfolk.”

“There are many opportunities in these jobs and it’s great the young people are learning so much.

“In their departments they’re already working at quite a skilled level.”

The day, on Friday, also saw the company host an open day for local schools in the area.

The event was supported by National Apprentice Service account manager Glen Moore and Warren Services chairman Richard Bridgeman.
