Brandon police are appealing for witnesses following a fight outside the Five Bells pub on Market Hill.
Two men were involved in the incident on Friday between 9.30am and 10pm, in which one received an eye injury.
A 42-year-old man from Brandon was arrested on suspicion of GBH and has since been released on police bail. He is due to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Station on September 8.
