Reports of drink-related antisocial behaviour have fallen in Thetford after police patrols were stepped up.
Residents complained of the problem in Painter Street and the issue was made a priority for the town's Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).
During the past few months there have been no more reported incidents.
Officers also targeted several other issues which included inconsiderate cycling in the town centre, during which six youngsters under 16 received warning letters and three adults were issued with fixed penalty notices.
Antisocial behaviour in the Fulmerston Church area was also reduced but will continue to be a priority.
At a recent Safer Thetford Action Group it was agreed to add the problem of antisocial use of mini-motos on the Croxton Road estate and inappropriate parking on green verges next to Castle Park to the list of problems to be tackled.
