A11 diversions delayed due to weather
OVERNIGHT diversions on the A11 will now take place beginning November 2, and not October 29 as originally stated.
OVERNIGHT diversions on the A11 will now take place beginning November 2, and not October 29 as originally stated.
The change is a result of a knock-on effect from ongoing works which were delayed because of rain.
The road will close between 8pm and 6am in both directions between the B1106 Bury Bottom junction at Elveden and the B1107 Brandon Road at Thetford.
Lay-bys will also be closed 24 hours a day for the duration of the works and traffic will be restricted from joining or leaving the A11 at the Elveden Road, London Road Junctions.

Traffic will be diverted via the A134 Brandon Road and Bury Road. The work is due to take eight nights and begin on Monday, November 2.
