The A11 southbound carriageway is closed at Thetford this morning (Wednesday) after a lorry shed its load.

The seven-tonne flatbed lorry stopped at the Sainsbury's roundabout near the town at 5.55am because of a flat tyre. A number of metal girders fell into the road.

A crane arrived just before 9am to remove the debris but it is not known how long the closure will last.
