Visitors to a town centre will have fewer parking spaces as roadworks force a car park to close.
Major road resurfacing in Thetford will cause White Hart Street, extending from the junction with King Street to its end, to be closed from Tuesday September 17 for two days, subject to weather conditions.
Norfolk County Council said that during the resurfacing works it would be necessary to close the road to all traffic including the public car park which would be closed for the duration of the works.
Vehicle access to businesses and properties within the limits of the works will be maintained from one end of the closure at any time.
The work, which will cost £50,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
