A serious crash involving three cars and a van closed the A1066 at Garboldisham for close to six hours.
Police were called shortly before 8.15am this morning to what was described as a “serious road traffic collision” at the crossroads for Smallworth.
The road was closed in both directions whilst emergency services, including Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Police, the East of England Ambulance Service and Norfolk Fire and Rescue, attended the scene.
Fire crews from Thetford and Attleborough used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove a person from a car.
The road was reopened at 2.05pm.
