Thetford’s Carnegie Room Will be holding two music nights to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Built in 1968, the Thetford Town Council owned building is a popular venue hosting a range of activities and events including theatre productions and craft fairs.
To celebrate its anniversary an acoustic showcase night will be held on Friday, July 27.
Hosted by Alton Wahlberg Music, 15 of the best local singers and songwriters will perform for the public’s vote.
The event will take place from 7pm until 11pm with tickets costing £5.
On Saturday, July 28, the all female vocal trio Apple Blossoms, specialising in 1940s close harmony singing, will perform.
They will be joined by solo artist Fiona Harber and funk/soul band Soul Riot.
Tickets for the event, from 7.30pm until midnight, are £12. Tickets for both nights can be bought for £15.
